Try setting up a new email account at say, hotmail and using that instead for the month when the book comes out. They don't have the same sort of adverts that gmail has.
That'll happen to me, seeing as two good friends are extremely Harry Potter obsessed, and both want to be able to prove me wrong about Snape *grrr*
