The worst is the lack of automatic spell check! You know I can't spell. I'm screwed.

I am using Flock in the meantime.

Gross with Andreas but I will have to suffer from 415 - 915 straight... when I really need to be studying for my algebra final.

Yeah, it was sort of a case of lost potential though. There was a set on the back but the front said something lame like "Mister, I'll make a set out of you"

Hi there!
I hope I'm not being too demanding or direct or anything but would you mind doing a tutorial on that "harry Potter bringing emo back" icon? I love the black and white effect so much and have been trying figure out how for ages now.

Would you be so kind as to do one?

I can't do tutorials for the life of me but I will tell you what I did and you can ask questions. I don't have the original image from the joindumbledoresarmy.com since I forgot my password but I took the image of Harry that was in color and most likely did the following:

1. I cropped to 100 x 100
2. duplicate base
3. top layer --> soft light (until I thought it was contrasted enough)
4. merge layers
5. duplicate base
6. top layer --> sharpen (until I thought it was sharp enough)
7. merge layers
8. add new layer
9. fill it with black
10. set that to hue (L) or saturation [whichever one you like better)
11. merge
12. add text (I used fonts from Dafont.com)

does that help?
