you would love synthetic division! instead of doing long division of polynomials you can just divide using coefficients :)

I am the dork who said that I love it. Now that I am in law school, I am really not a math person, but math used to be a soothing activity for me. I remember synthetic division to be particularly so. Although I can't really say it is useful to me.

I say "loved" because I don't actually remember much how to do it anymore but I remember the absolute joy I felt when we learned it. I used to do it for FUN. Algebra, how darest I forsake you? Woe, woe.

Damn, those icons are rad. I am tempted by your mood theme too, only...I love my triangles.
Still, I don't agree with all the triangles...hmm...could modify the triangles...somehow...god.
